The Jade Plant, also known as the Money Plant, is a very common succulent houseplant kept on bookshelves and shelves for many years. (Not to be confused with Pachira Aquatica, often known as the Money Tree.
It eventually develops into a small tree-like structure with a robust trunk and branches after it has reached maturity as a plant. The leaves are opal-shaped, thick, meaty, and lustrous jade green, occasionally with a crimson tinge at the leaf edge. New growth initially appears on stems with the same colour and texture as the leaves, but over time, this hardens into a brown, woody stem.
They are easy to care for, provided they have plenty of light.
They do not require much attention as they store water in their fleshy leaves.
